Maintenance firm goes bankrupt.

The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAMAW) is declaring an "historic victory", following a recent decision by a Quebec Superior Court judge that Air Canada must maintain its own heavy maintenance centres in Montreal and Winnipeg, reports the Montreal Gazette. The victory may by pyrrhic, as appeals could drag on for years.

Is anyone in government keeping score of the number and variety of public scams created by friends of the party in power? Privatising public services is just another means of playing off a new scam to insiders. Scim off the cream, then go "bankrupt" to get saved by their buddies in the legislature, or run off with the stolen pension money to a tax haven.
